Happy Birthday, Drewy!

I cannot believe that this little monkey is 4!  It seems like not that long ago that he was just a tiny baby, yet it seems he has always been with us.  We sure love him!!  He is so funny. He talks constantly. He is always asking questions, telling jokes, or beginning phrases with 'My Grandma....lives right over there....always plays games with me...says....has....' Most of the time it is total nonsense, but I love it. One day he said 'My Granddad...' I have no idea where he heard the word Granddad, it's not a phrase we use. We always say Papa. It was so funny though! He is completely obsessed with farts. He makes farting noises with his mouth and then will say 'Mom, you farted.' All day long he talks about farts.
birthday doughnut!

Andrew is such an easy going kid. He is happiest at home. He loves to just be at home. He will play for hours with his toys. He loves to watch shows. He loves to play with playdough, and when it's nice out he loves to be outside ridding one of the many bikes and ride on toys we have around. He gets a little lonely here during the day with just mom to keep him company. He loves Hunter and the two of them play so well together. There really aren't any kids his age around here, he is the only Sunbeam at church. He is in the class with the kids that just started kindergarten this year, but those are his friends and he loves them. They just aren't around during the day to play with. Most of my friend's kids are all in school. So if we meet friends for lunch he is usually the only kid there. Sometimes there is one other little guy.

Andrew loves all things Paw Patrol. He loves trucks and trains. He will spend hours building train tracks. His favorite food is mac & cheese and he asks for it almost everyday for lunch. He loves most fruits and veggies. He can be a pretty picky eater, even if he likes what is being served, he just won't eat it. He isn't a big breakfast fan. Often not eating much at all for breakfast. However, he does love cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios are his favorite.

For his birthday dinner he choose Tuscan Mac & Cheese. It is a favorite at our house. Papa Blair was here and got to share his birthday dinner with us. Drew actually got two birthday dinners because daddy had drill on his birthday. So we had Tuscan Mac & Cheese on his birthday then the day after is when we had a little party for him so I let him choose dinner again. He choose Pho. Another favorite at our house. We invited a few friends to come over for cake and ice cream, but it is such a busy time with basketball practices that no one could make it. He did have one little friend from his primary class come and they had a bast playing together. I usually make birthday cakes, but we were at Costco earlier the day of his party so I let him choose a cake. He loved that and I kinda enjoyed not having to make anything.

He got two presents, cool sand and Paw Patrol race cars. It was really hard to get a good picture of him as he was moving so quickly and he didn't want to stop to look at the camera. He loves his little cars and has played with them everyday since he got them.

We sure love our Drewy and are so happy he's apart of our family!!

Wow, it seems like he should still be two! He is so adorable, those eyes of his are so beautiful. Haha, he sounds so much like Marquel with all his likes, liking to be home and farts. Boys! Strange as they are they are so funny and entertaining!
