I've now received the infamous message telling me I've met my max capacity (for uploading pictures) on the blog. So I've decided to make a blog book so I can start deleting years of the blog. Have you made one? What site did you use and would you use it again?

Janel, I've had 3 or 4 friends say this happened to them in the last week. I wonder if blogger is putting a lower cap, anyway, one option is to add a second author to your blog and blog from that author and that will give you more storage space. just an option.
Oh no! I didn't know there was a max. That sucks! I don't know what companies to use. I'll be interested to hear.
This happened to me last week too. This is what one of my readers told me to do.
HTML code for posting pictures is SOOOOO easy! Here's a step-by-step. (I use Flickr now. I used to use Photobucket, but they recently made some changes that didn't allow me to control the size of the image I was posting, so I switched. I don't use Picasa, but I'm sure it'll be a fairly similar process.)
In Blogger, type your post. When you're ready to add pictures, click the "HTML" button at the top left (there are two settings -- "Compose" and "HTML". It defaults to "Compose"). Your text will change appearance. Before you do ANYTHING else, click on the "Options" tab on the right. In the very last section, "Line Breaks", select "Press 'Enter' for line breaks". Then click "Done". You shouldn't have to do this step again, but double check when you type your next post.
Now you're ready to add your pictures. In a separate tab/window, open your photo album in Picasa. Then open the specific picture you want to put in your post (you have to load them in individually). From the website I looked at for using html code from Picasa, it says there should be something that says "Link to this Photo" on the right-hand side of your screen. Click on that, and copy the second line of html code. Place your cursor where you want to insert the picture in your blog post, and paste the html code. (I usually like to leave a blank line break above and below each picture, so there's good separation.)
Now click back to "Compose", and you'll see your picture. You can click on the picture (which will highlight it) and change its justification if you want.
(Here's the link to the webpage I used to get info for using Picasa html code.

I would STRONGLY recommend using either Photobucket or Flickr, though, because their processes are a LOT easier.
I've made books with Blurb before...I love them...sign up for coupons though...you don't need to pay full price.
Guess these means mine will be doing this soon also and I should take notes, annoying.
