Family Adventures in Yellowstone

Trent's dad and step-mom live in Rexburg, ID so we decided to take a trip up to visit them and go to Yellowstone.  Trent's work schedule has changed so that every other week he has 6 days off in a row which is perfect for a little summer getaway!  Trent's dad has an RV and we spent two days in the park, camping at night, cruising and hiking during the day.  We saw TONS of animals.  We saw 4 bears, that's 4 more than I've ever seen in my whole life there.  Lots of elk and bison, and a handful of deer.  Oh, and an eagle's nest, Carter loved that.  The kids had so much fun looking for animals as we drove.  Carter thought the mud pots were awesome. The falls were beautiful.  And we took way too many pictures.  So here are a few:

Getting to Yellowstone took a little longer than it should...road work.  Trent, Carter, and Kimberlee on the side of the road, we were stopped like this for over 30 mins.

you may have to enlarge to see the grizzly bear

How cute are they?!
I'll have to post the rest of the pictures later...there's still more.

That looks so fun! Talk about perfect elements working together (six days off and an RV to borrow!). We miss you guys. Jack talks about Carter all the time!
