It's true, I may be desperate for
5 non-baby-screaming minutes. I may have seen the trick-or-treat candy and had a genius idea; give the kid a sucker (in the high chair of course:) And poof!
a happy baby, for 5 minutes. I actually got dishes done without the screaming baby. You can still see the tears in his eyes through the smile on the top picture (as well as that first little tooth in there). Yes he was messy, but I got something done. Magic! I shall keep those little suckers around, but next time, really no blue raspberry, he was blue for two days. ooops.

aaaaand our boys have the same shirt...pretty sure you knew that because you bought it for him...
thank you leftover halloween candy. you didn't even have to give him the yummy chocolate kind ;) (though he may me a little young for that still!)
I LOVE the idea of babies, suckers, and silence!!! I'd keep those treats close...and not let the bigger kids get into the suckers!!! Glad you got some time to get things done!!! He sure is LOVING his treat!!!
You do what you gotta do. Suckers are also good for when you get your babies ears pierced - I know, I'm a mean mom.
