We've had some firsts at our house

First day of Kindergarten (a few months late)  and first day of preschool.  They both LOVE school!  Hanna only goes twice a week and asks everyday if she gets to go to school.  Everyday when Carter gets home from school he will say "thanks for signing me up for kindergarten mom, I love it!" Seriously, everyday.  Carter is doing very well in school, he loves to learn and loves to listen to his teacher.  Hanna is enjoying her teachers and tells me she's only been in trouble once, and that was for kissing her friend she rides with.  (sorry Tionna, we'll have to work on the no kissing thing a little more:)

Hunter's first BIG mess, yes he did that all by himself.  (and he wasn't even crawling yet) My house doesn't stand a chance against these kids.  The other day I spent a good amount of time cleaning the upstairs, putting things away, vacuuming the floor, you know, just cleaning.  I got down the hall, and turned around and kids were throwing toys out their bedroom doors into my nice clean house....not cool!  Why do I even try?

Crawling! He started crawling the very night I took these pictures (sometime in September).  I sat him down next to my feet (I was on the couch)  He laid down, rolled over and then sat himself back up again.  Then he giggled.  He thought that was so fun!  He did it again.  Next he was on his knees and he was moving.  He was giggling with each move.  He was so proud of himself.  A whole new world of discovery had been found.  He could move where ever he wanted, and he loves it!  Carter and Hanna, not so much.  Often I will hear "Mom, he's getting our toys!"  So once I responded, telling them to set them (meaning the toys) on the bed.  Next thing I hear is Carter saying "quick Hanna, catch him"  They were trying to put Hunter on the bed.  Next time I'll be more specific when I say "put them on the bed"  I'm learning that after years of not having a baby in the house (okay, so he's the first baby in this house)  we are far from having a baby proofed house.  We're working on it still.
